General Purposes Meeting

Kingsclere Parish Council will be holding a General Purposes Meeting on Monday 11th November at 7:30pm in The Holding Room at The Village Club, The Agenda is:

1. Apologies

2. Declarations of interest

Questions from the Public – to receive questions, planning representations, or comments.

The meeting will be suspended for a maximum of 15 minutes and each member of the public will be allowed no more than 3 minutes to speak. No decisions can be made by the Council during this

time. After this period the meeting will be resumed, and members of the public may only speak when invited to do so. Members of the public are welcome to stay for the remainder of the meeting.

3. Allotment Inspection updates – discuss plots where rules are not followed

4. Flower Bed in the Square – update on Design Specification NP

5. Discussion on Mowing and Maintenance Tenders for 2025/26

6. Risk Assessment – review findings noted to date

7. Review new draft Allotment Rules and regulations and Tenancy Agreement documents

8. Lychgate – only one quote received more ideas needed

9. Malthouse Open Space Draft Management Plan – update on email to Basingstoke NP

10. Health and Safety – to raise any health and safety concerns

11. Planning Matters

12. Matters for Future Consideration – to note any items raised in Questions from the Public to include on future agendas

13. To confirm Date of Next GP Committee Meeting currently scheduled for – Monday 10th February 2025.
